A pet owner has posted an emotional video on Facebook after a car hit her dog and knocked him out cold.
The video, posted to YouTube, shows the dog being pulled from the car by another dog.
The owner says she saw a light on and was surprised when she saw the window frame and a dog sitting on the edge of the window.
The dog is shown walking on a leash.
The car driver then drives away.
The woman said she had no idea the window was damaged until she looked in her yard and saw blood on the window and the frame of the car.
The owners story is heartbreaking.
The vehicle was reported stolen from an address on the outskirts of Fort Myers, Florida, last week.
The driver, identified as 26-year-old William Allen Brown, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.
The Fort Myers Police Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The woman’s video was shared more than 1,300 times.
She wrote that she had a dog named Dolly and her dog, Daisy, had a collar with a small dog collar that she said belonged to the dog.
She said her dog had broken a collar on her neck, so she put Daisy in a plastic bag and put it on the ground.
She told the camera that she put her dog in the car because she was afraid she might run out of water and lose her dog.
Brown said he was driving to pick up a friend.
He said he didn’t want to run over anyone, and he did not know if the other person in the passenger seat had a license plate.
He told the video that the woman in the driver’s seat was wearing a face mask.
The video was later posted to Facebook by an account named The Real Pet Owner.
The page describes itself as a group of “real dog owners who want to share their stories, teach others about their pets and share the joy and pride they have for our animals.”
