According to Zilow, the typical price of homes in Oklahoma, Austin and Atlanta is between $890,000 and $934,000.

In Atlanta, that’s about $1 billion.

That’s not the only difference.

Zillower also found that Oklahoma City has the highest rate of single-family home sales in the country at nearly 3.5 times the national average.

But Atlanta, which is home to more than 1 million people, has a higher single-home sales rate of 4.7 times the nation’s average. 

In other words, Oklahoma City is a lot more expensive than the average American city.

So what’s the big deal?

Well, the real-estate experts at Zillows claim that the price of these homes is a result of Oklahoma’s extreme weather.

“We estimate that Oklahoma has an average temperature of -14 degrees Celsius over the past month,” Zillovision’s Matt St. Germain said.

“And that means that even with a slight adjustment to our model, Oklahoma has seen more than 20 days of extreme weather this month.

This is why the median house in Oklahoma has a price of over $1million.” 

The average price of the median home sold by Zilloys in Oklahoma in August was $853,000 for the median sale price of $1 Million.

In Austin, it was $1M for the $1-million median.

And in Oklahoma cities, like Oklahoma City where prices are skyrocketing, there’s a lot of demand.

According to Zilliows, there are nearly 700,000 listings for houses in Oklahoma that sell for more than $1 M. In Oklahoma City there are 2.8 million listings.

And that demand can be seen in Oklahoma as well.

Zilliow says that Oklahoma city, for example, has almost 7,000 properties that sell at more than four figures.

Oklahoma City, Austin, and Tulsa are just a few of the top 10 cities with the highest average home values.
